Only a small percentage of Brisbane dental practices own a laser. Our many lasers enable us to deliver a range of improvements, including more accurate diagnosis of decay, improved healing times after surgery, and sterilisation of the tooth surface before restoration. Laser also reduces the risk of micro-fracturing and chipping of the tooth, ensuring your restoration lasts for as long as possible.
Air abrasion uses compressed air, water and abrasive powder to remove tooth decay or stubborn stains from the surface of the tooth. It leaves much more of your healthy tooth tissue behind than older methods, and, like laser, reduces the risk of micro-fracturing and chipping. Air abrasion is also far more comfortable than older methods, because you do not hear any noise or feel any vibration.
Ozone (an oxygen derivative with antiseptic qualities) helps to control bacteria, fungi, viruses and proteins that can be harmful to teeth and gums. We use ozone therapy to speed up the healing process in cases of infection, and to help reverse some cases of decay, so that we can save as much of your natural tooth as possible.
We use our small intraoral cameras to capture areas of concern in magnified photographs of your teeth and gums, which we display on monitors in our treatment rooms. Our cameras enable us to keep you fully informed of the health of your teeth and gums, and to explain your treatment options comprehensively.

Each of our surgeries is equipped with a DVD player that you may watch during extended treatment appointments.
